Meet the founder
Sarafina Davis — Founder & Owner
Being a single mother balancing school, work, activism, and her children's extracurricular activities it was proved to be no easy feat for Sarafina. She began to feel burned out and knew that she couldn't be the only parent struggling to do it all. Sarafina realized that what she needed was a village. She needed a helping hand to show up for her kids when she couldn't. This led to her starting KidzRide, LLC, in 2018.
Today, KidzRide LLC serves Pittsburgh, PA and as of 2025, Charlotte, NC and neighboring counties. Sarafina's goal is to expand KidzRide into a national, kid-focused transportation service.
A Pittsburgh native and a Community College of Allegheny County School of Social Work graduate, Sarafina has over 10 years of experience providing mental health services to her local community. As a mother of two, she brings her passion for activism, human services, and community organization to everything she builds.
